Jennifer Pichardo, MHA, BSN, RN

Director of Nursing

Jennifer Picardo brings over 20 years of healthcare experience specializing in behavioral health to her role as Director of Nursing at Remedy Therapy Center for Eating Disorders. She is committed to providing excellent and safe care to patients and their families, backed by extensive expertise in administration, policy, organizational and strategic management, and innovative leadership.

Jenn began her career as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, earning her Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University. While working full-time at the Institute of Psychiatry on the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) campus, she obtained a Master’s Degree in Health Administration and Policy from MUSC. Upon moving to Florida, Jenn furthered her education with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Palm Beach State College and a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Western Governors University. She now serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Nursing Department at Indian River State College.

Her clinical and administrative experience spans various settings within the mental health field, including child/adolescent residential psychiatry, substance abuse medical detoxification, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient levels of care. This diverse background has helped Jenn develop the knowledge and expertise necessary to excel in the Behavioral Health Field.

Outside of her professional life, Jenn strives to maintain a balanced lifestyle. She has a passion for dance, exercise, and spending time with her family and friends. She is also an enthusiastic competition cheer and dance mom.

Jenn Picardo’s dedication to her field and her comprehensive background make her an invaluable asset to the Remedy Therapy team, where she continues to lead with compassion and expertise.
